The mediator – is a specially trained neutral and independent specialist who helps the parties to the conflict (dispute) in its settlement, organizes and carries out mediation. It is important to remember that in the process of mediation:

  • decisions are made by the parties on their own and aimed at satisfying their in-depth needs and interests;
  • the mediator does not offer variants and does not make decisions for the participants.
